File processing and status
Files must complete an assimilation process before they can be viewed in Trimble Connect. Depending on the number, size, and complexity of the files that are uploaded, it may take some time before the files are processed.
When a 3D model file is uploaded to Trimble Connect for Browser, the model file goes through an assimilation process to be loaded to the 3D App. This process may take a few minutes to complete.
While the file is being processed, the file can't be viewed in the 3D App.
You can check the status of the file processing by selecting the file. The processing information is shown on the Details pane on the right side.
You can subscribe an email notification for the completion of the process. From the Details pane, select the Notify me when done check box.
Processing viewer data (In queue): The file is waiting in the queue and will be processed once other files are done.
Processing data for Viewer: The file is currently being processed. The percentage shows the estimated amount of the progress from 0 to 100%.
Processing: Generating Thumbnail : The processing is complete and the thumbnail is being generated.
When the processing is complete, the processing status is no longer visible and a thumbnail for the file is displayed.
Select and unselect the file to refresh the processing status.
If your file is not displayed
There are a few reasons why your file may not be displayed in the 3D App. Some of the reasons may be caused by incompatible files or issues with the Trimble Connect server.
Processing files may have failed due to an internal server issue. If the file fails to pass assimilation, contact Trimble Connect Support.
